Brick and Stone - Empire State Building Brick 'n" mortar
kit..
The brick and mortar kits offer an older child a tactile, three-dimensional
building experience like no
other craft project. Constructing with the kit requires patience
and strategy and provides excitement and pride with each brick
added. Precise brick alignment and a visually straight building
will take many hours and is a perfect project for adult and child
to work on together for several days. If desired, the mortared
bricks may be soaked in water and reused, with new mortar, to
build again.

The kit comes with 650( +) kiln fired bricks, mortar
mix, trowel, building platforms and right angle.

With the supervision of an adult an eight-year-old
begins mixing the mortar in the wheelbarrow provided.
3.
The first tier of of the building is constructed with
generous layers of mortar between the bricks.
4.
During construction, strategy and constant reference
is a must when staggering bricks per row.
5.
To ensure a sturdier building a layer of mortar is
spread on the previous row of bricks before placing
the next.
6.
For alignment and brick configuration, construction
platforms are inserted per tier.
The
completed building makes a great craft project that
any child will be proud to display or knock down,
soak and build again!
7. Topping off the building with the spire
becomes a very exciting and anticipated moment
for the child.
8. A damp sponge brush is used, intermittently,
and as a final cleaning to remove any excess
mortar.
